- My projects and exams are done for now...YAY!!! But that's the big rush until finals! Awesome! I just have my TEAS testing to prepare for and that's in the morning of April 17.
- I am trying to give myself the knitting/crocheting bug again so I am probably going to get the book The Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs! It will probably give me some inspiring ideas for the needlework (knitting and crocheting) club that my mother and I are working on organizing. If I get it I'll write a review and let you know what I think! =)
- I got a new car!!! Yep, that's right! My parents got me a new car. Seeing as I live in Arizona and it's getting close to summer weather already they felt that I needed a car with airconditioning (and airbags). The result of this thinking was my new baby: an '06 Honda Accord Coupe. She is so beautiful! Thank you so much mommy and daddy, I really appreciate it and I love you both.
- Just for fun....here is a sneak peak at a project I've been working on, on and off...it will still take awhile for this thingy to be done. booo!

Why I haven't been updating...
So, you might have noticed that I haven't really been updating for quite awhile lately.
There are a few simple reasons for this and they are as follows:
Hopefully I will be able to post a project or two on a break of mine! =)
Love you all,
LeeAnn
There are a few simple reasons for this and they are as follows:
- I have finished many knitting/crocheting projects lately. However I have not been posting them up on here as a finished project. Why? Well...it's my dog Sammy. He goes crazy over lights, most especially camera flashes...I think you see where this is going. So i haven't been up to dealing with my puppy and taking loads of pictures to flaunt my needlework skills.
- The next reason I haven't been updating lately is because, as my previous post stated...I've been very busy ans stressed with my school workload. With this immense workload I have been suffering from extreme stress thus producing stress manifestations on my body. The ones that I have been feeling include: intense headache, depression, back pain, increased heart rate, and of course mood swings. For more infomration on the affects of stress on your body visit MayoClinic.com.
Hopefully I will be able to post a project or two on a break of mine! =)
Love you all,
LeeAnn

It's been awhile...
So...I've been wanting to post something but...I don't really have much to say that's different.
I'm busy with school and having a lot of difficulty doing my work that I need to get done. I can't seem to concentrate and focus long enough to get any work done, and critical thinking is simply out of the question in this present mental state. >_< I really want to be a good student and get all of my assignments in and do a great job but I'm not sure I'll be able to.
Sneak peak....

Well, well, well...
Eight More Weeks...
It's been quite awhile since I've updated. I have to admit I've been slightly busy with school related responsibilities. However, I have also been extremely scatter-brained and indecisive (both of which I detest). I have been picking up and putting down tons of crocheting/knitting projects (not finishing one of them of course) and watching full seasons of Bones (which is fantastic). Unfortunately though, I must get my head on strait...and quickly.
I have three projects coming up (one in Christian Worldview which analyzes a television show and what message they are trying to portray to its watchers, another is a complete analysis and work up of the disease ALL-Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, and the last one being a complete record, evaluation and analysis of my dietary intake for three days.) So...needless to say, I need to get my head in the game.
I am also still feeling a bit sick and can't seem to get my room cleaned properly for longer than 3 hours...very frustrating indeed. It's tough concentrating when I have a huge desire to just curl up with a good book or an exciting pattern and ignore everything for awhile. I guess I'm becoming an adult. Why didn't you guys tell me it kinda sucks?
Love,
LeeAnn

In regards to my attitude toward school...
Is it bad that when Vlad calls me Hermione I feel pride?
haha! I do, I do! =D

So this week...
This past week was easy-peasy! I had no school on Monday because of MLK day and no school on Tuesday because I have no classes. So...Wednesday I started my school week and there was no workload in any of my classes and Friday was the same. I also got my first homework back for my Pathophysiology class and I got a 90% on it. =) My first test is this Friday! Wish me luck!
We had some pretty crazy weather this week too... Considering it is Arizona the rain was ridiculous (but I did love it!). It rained non stop all Thursday and our backyard flooded. The water almost got inside the back door...rather ridiculous, if I do say so myself.
However, by Friday the rain had stopped for the most part and mother, me and father had a wonderful birthday dinner for my father at Outback Steakhouse. It definitely hit the spot!!!
It was another great Saturday too! I went to the Farmers Market again with daddy and we saw Maggie briefly. Then we went to the gun show!!! It was an incredible experience! There were so many guns and knives and gear, it was simply incredible. I am so grateful that I was able to spend the time with daddy and that he dished out the money for it...because the parking and entrance prices were absolutely ridiculous (though worth it haha)! Cameras weren't allowed but I sneaked a few pictures from my phone camera-sorry about the bad quality.
The first picture is just a picture of some of the guns there were for sale. There were tables upon tables in building upon building of displays like this. The second is a really cool (in my opinion) sword and chain mail set! The third picture is, yes, it really is, a desert eagle!!! The fourth picture is a wide variety of swords that were for sale as well. It was as great experience and am glad I got to share it with daddy.
This weekend I also finished my felicity hat! WooHoo to that!
I'll be posting pictures of it in a separate post along with instructions. Howway!

Just Reallly Quick...
Just a quick update because I have been slacking.
Two reasons for slacking include:
Vlad returned today. Bah Bah Bah. It's just a bad situation, being away from him for so long, especially this time because everything is so uncertain right now for both of us we don't know if we will be able to see each other in the summer. If we do then it will only be two weeks because if I (hopefully) get a job, then I'll be new and will only have some much time off, same for Vlad. However right now it seems almost certain that I will be going to his place for Christmas this next year. Exciting..and sad. Guess I will see how I do away from my parents for holidays. =( Anyway....my three beautiful weeks with Vlad were nothing short of wonderful and I miss him terribly already, but now it is time to buckle down on school (if my bloody books would just get here already) and time to really concentrate on my health. I NEED to eat healthier and I would love to start running. We'll see how that happens with my schooling (because I think I will be struggling quite a lot with school at GCU because I will actually be learning).
Love you Vlad, Mom and Dad!

- I started school at Grand Canyon University this week
- I was enjoying Vlad and his presence and his laughter.

Just an update
A new perspective..
Concentrate on the fact that:
1. I have a boyfriend
2. My relationship with him can progress
3. He is devoted to me and is faithful
4. He loves me and I love him
5. We have a wonderful, rewarding, and mutually beneficial relationship
6. We know how to communicate our feelings-despite distance, anger (during fights), and my stupid stubbornness
7. We will be married and have a family together
8. He puts up with me...somehow :P
maybe this will help me...realizing how lucky I am...duhh
On another note...
~knitting is going well with the beanie-making progress...I'm at about 5" :) (out of 9")
~School is stressful...but I'm doing good in it :)
~Micro is going good but lab is a lot of work at the moment...we have a midterm next Tuesday...we also have a test in the lecture class on Thursday. I am not yet prepared for it but I am definitely ahead of many others.
~Chemistry is just a mess sometimes...lately. lol I'm not really close to ready for the chemistry test next thursday but I will be working with Jenny today to learn and practice balancing equations and so on. I'll also be going to a review session on Monday before work...bah. But it should help.
~English is going fine, I just need to write out my rough draft. I annotated my passage and have a thesis and rough outline already so it shouldn't be too difficult.
~Latin...haven't had a chance to work on it yet this week. I think it will be more of a weekend thing especially during busy weeks. bah!
Well..that's pretty much it..nothing interesting really =P
