My Kind of Town Cowl
Size made: Small
Craft: Knit

Materials
Needle used: US 15 (10.0 mm)
Yarn used: Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick
Total Yardage Used: 0.98 skeins: 105.8 yards
Bought yarn from: JoAnn's (on clearance)

Project Details and Feedback
Duration of Project: November 26th to November 26th, 2011
Modifications:I didn't have big enough needles so I used the biggest I have (which are15's). I also had a slightly smaller weight yarn available.
Make this pattern again?  Yes.  This would be fun to make as called for in a really comfy yarn, but not till I move to a colder climate.  This is really warm!
Final Thoughts/Recommendations: Fun, quick, instant gratification project.

I did this in one day while studying!!!

Love,
LeeAnn

Your cowl looks great. A friend was wearing one and told me the name of the pattern and that it was on Ravelry. Yes, there is a page for it on Ravelry. Unfortunately, when you click the "download" link for the pattern, you are taken to a 'broken' blog which no longer exists.

Do you happen to have a PDF of this pattern that you would be willing to email to me? If so, I would be very grateful. My email address is sheilabennett@comcast.net

Like the person above, I also wanted to see if you had a copy of the pattern saved, and wouldn't mind sending it, because the source page no longer exists.

My ravelry name is sophiaphillia.

Thank you for doing the review of the pattern, it's really helpful!

Hey there!

So here is the thing, you don't really need a pattern for this "pattern." I posted the yarn (any bulky yarn will do) and the size of my needles i used (you can choose the size based on the look you want).

From there you cast on the height that you want and do a garter stitch (knit the row, turn the work and knit the next row, repeat). You do it to the length that you want then bind off. stitch together.

Alternatives you can do is a provisional cast on then to end you do a three needle bind off. You can also cast on like normal then when you are ready to join the beginning and end pick up stitches from the beginning and do a three needle bind off.

If you have any more questions let me know! I'm sorry for the delayed response!

LeeAnn
