Finished Project: Vlady's First Toque

 First Toque for Vlady
Size made: One size fits all
Craft: Knit

Materials
Needle used: US 7 circular, US 6 dpns
Yarn used: Noro Silk Garden Lite
Color: 2011 Orange
Bought at: Cactus Yarns in Surprise, Arizona
Use yarn again? Yep.  This is verry warm yarn and the colors are really cool how they blend together thought they are so unique. I am personally not a fan of the colorway but I saw some beautiful projects with this yarn in a gorgeous blue colorway. I am very unhappy that they have discontinued this but I am definitely looking forward to my next project in Noro.

Project Details and Feedback
Duration of Project: August 4th to August 6th 2010
Modifications: Well...for the part of this toque that was knitted up with circular needles (the majority of it), I used as US 7 instead of the US 6 called for.  Because of this, the hat was bigger (good thing Vlad's head is bigger that the pattern size!). Another side affect of the US 7 needles was that it used more yarn, so I had to take out 3 second repeat rows randomly.
Make this pattern again? This turned out wonderfully!  I really can't wait to make this for myself or someone else. This yarn is also really warm so Vlad will be covered this winter in beautiful B.C.-if it even snows that is!

Love,
LeeAnn
