Oh man, Oh man, OH MAN!!!

Summing up this day in one sentence:

I was completely spoiled.
...and boy, it is true.   Mother dragged me to Target (I hate shopping if it isn't anything to do with my hobbies) where we went to see if the tanks that were on sale for only 5 dollars each were good for me.  Turns out they are. Oh, and they look fantastic! Because I absolutely HATE shopping for clothes that took less than, what?, twenty minutes?, maybe? I really love how they fit and they are perfect for layering.

Then...
We went to Barnes and Nobles (Mother, Vlady and I) for the weekly grouping.  (Mother groups and Vlad and I tag along so that we can drool over the books and spend time in one of the best places in the world-a bookstore!)  While there I discovered some newly erected tables that contained products that were 50% off.  Well...usually the for sale table books are deservedly there. However, today I found some that just did not belong:

Of course, I could not pass up a deal like this!
Unfortunately, Vogue Stitchionary Volume 2 and 3 were not present on the for sale tables and the volume one cover was a little beat up but I overlooked it for the goodness inside (don't judge a book by its cover...right?).
There was also this beauty on the sale table:
Mother of course was kind enough to give this pretty girl a nice home!

Of course, inspired by the sale...I decided to use my birthday money given to me for splurge events just like this one (which, I must say, do not happen often...but when they do, yarn or books are always the culprits).

So...with the money I finally invested in books/magazines that I have been eyeing for quite awhile, and when I mean quite awhile I mean months and months- easily at least 6 months.
Here they are:

I amm really so very happy I got these...finally...and I am really looking forward to diving into all of my currently owned books and magizines and doing at least one project from each of them to fullfill one of my 101 goals in 1001 days.

While I am on here I might as well do a quick update on my life and it's going on's.
My boyfriend is here!!!! I'm really happy and having a good time this summer because of his presence.  I am still sleeping quite a bit but not as much as I was before he got here.  I also am in my very last week of my summer class. Horrayy! Yippee!! Woohoo!!!
My next project will be to get another meeting for A Tight Knit Group together this July.  I also will need to have a couple things done (vaccinations, CPR license, Fingerprinting Card) done by July 30th so that I can participate in upper division this next semester.
I also plan to really get a good start on my 101 ways in 1001 days list.  I have been working on some of it but I really hope to get into it when my class is over.
Well...I think that is about it. Not much else to say!

Thank you Mommy and Vlady for a wonderful day! [Miss you daddy, show you my loot when you get back!]
I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings me!

Love,
LeeAnn

So glad I could be there to help you with your very complicated decision--"just how many of these books should I reaaallllyyyyy buy?" I'm sure you will be very busy browsing through them for the perfect items to knit. Hope Vlad doesn't get too bored reading all the time :)
