Shawl #8 for 11 shawls in 2011

Materials
Needle used: US 10 (6.0 mm), US 10.5 (6.5 mm)
Color: Denim Blue
Total Yardage Used: 382.5 yards
Bought yarn from: Knit 1 Bead 2 in Jerome, AZ

Project Details and Feedback
Duration of Project: July 30th to August 4th, 2011
Modifications: Here is the order of rows that I did: 18 st st, 16 textured, 16 st st, 16 textured,16 st st, 6 textured, 26 garter stitch then I BO with the 10.5 needles.
Make this pattern again?Yes but I would definitely want to do this in a snuggly yarn. I would probably also prefer to make a rectangular shawl in this sort of textured patterns.  Oh, and the textured pattern was fun to knit. =]

Final Thoughts/Recommendations: Definitely worth a try but the "pattern" (it's more a few notes to get your creative juices flowing) is not specific in how to start. I'd look around at different peoples project pages to see how they started it.  I marked people as helpful if they had information like that so you could start at my page and look at who helped me out.

Love,
LeeAnn

Hi LeeAnn! Your shawl is beautiful! I am using some Mary Gavan Cuesta I bought at Sedona Knitwits to make mine. Petra is very nice and mails to me in NJ. I will check out the shop in Jerome when we visit again. MarleneS2
