So my explanation for not updating lately is simply that I was terrified that my laptop is on the brink of destruction. I got a Trojan on my laptop last week and out of a mixture of luck, previous experience, and help I was able to delete it from my laptop. Unfortunately, I lost some important components of a computer such as a system restore and the add/remove programs and the ability to change user accounts. However....I was able to back up all of my files: my music, my documents, my pictures...all of it. Needles to say...I was very fortunately, very lucky...and I am truly grateful.
I have been hesitant to jinx that I think. I didn't want to do anything that I considered important on my laptop for fear of being in the middle of something and having my laptop die. Some important things? Updating my blog, updating my Ravelry, sending some emails, making some things and...above all...taking and uploading pictures onto my computer. Without pictures to upload, I have been...well...uninspired to update my blog.
But fear not!!! I have been keeping busy of course!!!
I have almost completed my mothers day gift! I have almost completely completed my lace bookmarks! I have started on my first knitted project that is not an accessory (a shirt)! I have officially finished my submission to the upper division nursing program at my school! I have finished all of my classes and finals! I have learned how to sew with a sewing machine and did pretty dang good! (Updates on that next week!) I have alsooo been compiling things for A Tight Knit Group. I have got my Xbox 360 back (which incidentally, crashed a week before my laptop got infected...for the first time!).
I am still waiting on my blood tests and plan on calling tomorrow to see what the deal is!!! ...I'm hoping that it's only the heat that is causing me to have absolutely no appetite. (Basically...If i drink two glasses of chocolate milk and eat an apple for the entire day then I will be completely satisfied and even a bit full). So I'm really interested in what this blood test shows.
Well...I guess that's about it! Haha! =]
Can't wait to show you what I've been working on!
Tomorrow is...clean the entire house day!

Whoohoo--entire house clean today! Notice what the mom zeros in on--hahahahaha! Have missed your blogs. Even though I see you every evening, I get a different percpective when I read your thoughts here. And everyone, the mother's day gift is spectacular! Wait 'til you see it! Whoohoo!
